I live in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
I'm a third generation resident of Bethlehem.
Bethlehem was founded in 1741 by the Moravian's, in the early years of their 100 year prayermeeting starting
in 1727. Neighboring Nazareth was founded in 1740 by Rev. George Whitefield, first US Great Awakening Evangelist.
Note: The Moravain preacher Rev. Peter Boehler, was used by God to bring salvation assurance to Rev. John Wesley during their sea voyage back to England in 1738.
John Wesley points to this meeting as significant to him.
The 24/7, 100 year Moravain prayer meeting in Herrnut Germany in 1727, must have been crucial to God's out pouring of his Holy Spirit and revival in the USA.
